Everyone has heard of it,as I know of. And its also associated with I believe anemia though its more along the lines a vampyr like. No that disease doesn't make anyone like that mortally a vampire. Though I would believe everyone on this site has heard of it.

I believe the origin to that sickness happens to lie in the fact that it might be in fact linked to Anemia.
