PostSubject: Philosophy of the Vampire   Sun Oct 21, 2012 8:42 pm

The change into a vampire is almost always accompanied by physical changes in the creature's body. The most common of these is a removal of the ability to feel pain, and a fundamental change in their perception of the world. These are caused by the sudden lack of soul, which influences the way everything looks and feels. The immortality of the creature comes due to a perceptual change. The body in complete control of itself does not choose to harm itself with entropy, and so stops doing it. However it is the soul which provides a creature with true wisdom and this form of immortality almost always results in major psychological problems. While immortal, eventually almost all vampires end up committing suicide due to the pressure of their own thoughts.

Changes such as an increase in strength, the ability to fly, psychic and telekinetic powers, and magic abilities are fueled by a power source which accompanies the transformation. As such these abilities are dependent on the amount of energy within the being, and will be increased or decreased by this factor.

This is a very interesting theory that might help. Check out the whole site. I put it in "Title of the Topic"

once more nice info but try to put link at the end of your info. also very intresting i can say one thing i would never even think of killing myself no matter how old i was to get aging as a vampire grants so many choices and power so the older you get the better. but i can still see how the death of a important person in your life can cause depresion but you have to push these things away if you truly want to see the paradise in the long run.im not saying become a heartles beast just accept certain things

just to correct you, vampires don't loose their souls after the transformation, soul remains intact

With the vast amount of sheer (political) corruption around the world, almost entirely associated with materialism, and the influx of 'smart' technology slowly turning its users into mindless, anti-social zombies, it's no wonder why suicide rates are skyrocketing across the globe. Wink

Interesting site, by the way!
